From quite a young age Millie was perpetually told that she had an impressive eye for color. Born to two graduates of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Arts, and later enrolled in multi-realm art classes for over 10 years of her youth, she believes that this foundation led to the future strengthening and evolving of her colorful eye. Millie recalls a particular moment throughout her childhood where her innate artistic creativity ignited with her branding and marketing minded brain. She was eight years old and completely rebranded the company her father was working for at the time. This company received a new logo, which was a trapeze monkey named Hercules after the company’s name. As well as a full marketing campaign and promotional tactics, well as full as it could be for an eight year old’s mind. This determined mindset evolved into hypothetical fashion brands, which included personally designed lines such as everyday to evening apparel, as well as wedding collections. From there on out, Millie would see all the possibilities of the world in a completely different frame of mind.

Throughout her high school years, Millie enrolled in a Humanities Specialty Center. Little did she know at the time, this would add to a stronger foundation, useful later in life when she entered the business industry. It has been projected that professional Public Relations/Marketing Communicators are more likely to succeed when relying on a humanities foundation. Utilizing a strong understanding for humanities includes acknowledging inner meaning of brands and professional roles within them. Starting at age 13, she recalls becoming mesmerized by following the initial growth of the influencer marketing industry. As a sophomore in high school, Millie created and launched her very own personal influencer blog. The original name of her blog was CiaoDaisyGal, which later switched the TheAmazonShopaholic. Through this outlet, Millie tapped into realms of both interior and apparel styling, health, and lifestyle. She also utilized other channels such as LikeToKnowIt and Amazon Storefront. Millie found that experiencing these platforms from an influencer perspective would become useful in the future as she planed to eventually work hands on with influencers through public relation roles.

Today, Millie specifically indulges in styling, design and photography. Through her time as an Integrated Marketing Communications major at the University of Mississippi, Millie found a love for Public Relations. This is where she began to imagine a dream career working as a Public Relations specialist within the fashion industry. Fully intertwining her passion for building intentional strong relationships with others she encounters, as well as complimenting her artistic mind. Millie has always found the world of fashion to feel like home, indulging in the luxurious bond within an endless sphere of creativity.

One of the very first avenues where Millie got to experience the love in which the fashion community had to offer was when she held the position of Casting Director for Square Magazine her senior year of college, 2022-2023. She thrived within an avenue where collaborating imaginative notions was on each and every daily to-do list.

Overall, Millie is extremely motivated, extroverted, and vivacious. If you know anything about the enneagram, Millie is a textbook seven. The enthusiast all the way.
